Jesse Wood for Playing Fashion

A little profile on Jesse Wood I shot a while back. Good bloke.

Fleet Ilya for Playing Fashion

A designer profile I shot a little while back.  They were both so lovely and took time out of their busy schedule for this shoot so I was quite chuffed.

Hugh Tennent

New male model at Models1.  Really nice bloke too!

There’s a dress in there somewhere…

A long lapse into night…

I love this time of year, the slow introduction of winter though never quite arriving.  The nights stretch out before us like shadows in the failing sun and leaves lie at your feet like fallen soldiers on the battlefield.  When collars are turned to protect from the wind and the smell of gunpowder is in the air from the fireworks that everyone has been setting off.  The noises, the life.  People out trick-or-treating or asking penny for the guy (do they do that anymore? I haven’t seen any in a few years).  It’s all a support act to the end of year run-in and Christmas, where most of us get a well earned break.

All the excitement before we start again with nothing but the grey cold, a hangover, and another long year ahead…

Holiday!

Gotta have a few snaps to take when you’re abroad.  And it’s not a holiday unless you finish on a sunset baby.

Old

I shot this last year.  It should probably go in my book but it can live on my blog for now.  It’s called Boombox

Playing Fashion Magazine – Androgyny

I shot this a short while back and it’s been out for about a month now (I’m slow on updating my stuff as I’m sure you’ve guessed – something I promise to change).  They ran it in B+W which was beautiful but I thought it would add it here with a pop of colour.  Enjoy!

Penelope Chilvers

A lookbook I shot a while ago which is now out. Good legs..

Moments

Sometimes in life there are moments that are beautiful.  Naturally some things are always beautiful but at other times some elements come together long enough to create a beautiful moment.  I saw these leaves on the pavement the other day and the way they fell created such a moment.  In amongst fallen leaves along the whole street were these two snippets and they stood apart from the rest.  I was lucky enough to photograph them before the wind picked them up and moved them along, taking that moment away…
